“And I’ll Open It”
For I stood upon a platform
Ready to take a flight
Where it was I was going
Meant nothing to me that night
But the engineer
Said all is ready here
And off I went
Like a rocket leaping swiftly off our planets sphere
Into space and was spinning
The moon flew by like
A seconds glancing
The stars I passed a many
But leaped and bounced
As a poetic dancer
Fully free
And sound
Unbound
Joy overflowed
I was filled with plenty
And to me I needed it to be never ending
Yet I ended up in a dark wall-less room
With a gleaming wooded old treasure chest
That was beckoning my soul to not fall along with its call
It shot light beams through its ever-old cracks
I pondered a minute
And said I want a wife and kids
Then I was swiftly tooken back
I awoke not knowing where I was
Dazed and confused of what I just saw
Then I finally realized my place
I said man!!
I just refused
Some gift from above
I hope I never do that again
But I know I’ll have my place
It wont come fast or slow
And I’ll open it
For it’s full of Grace
From the best of any a friend
That any man can ever comprehend
